✜ ||  The latch unbuckles and given a brief moment, he emerged from the door; his countenance clouds with bemusement as he mutters an incoherent salutation. She overlooks both his presence and greeting and saunters within the orderly room. Beryl hues scrutinize the inventory of the area, only locating a completed miniature bookshelf along with the usual necessities. Bland, desolated and typical of him; her expectations diminish even further when her eyes fail to locate a single gaming device. She veers her attention back him and merely comments with her customary nonchalant vocals. “How boring.”

“Don’t you have any consoles?” Wedged between her fingers displayed the newest installment of Battleblock Theater™ that she was incapable of completing; unfortunately, story mode required a minimum of 2 individuals — something that she, herself couldn’t fulfill. She clicks her teeth in slight vexation and ambles towards him with an inscrutable expression. “We’re going to play a game.” A brief pause, before she emits a sigh. “I’ll lend you an Xbox for now; it’s in my room, so come and help me get it.”

A reply was not immediate, despite his expectations that she would explain behind her reasons for such a sudden meeting to occur. Though, the unspeakable had replaced the reasonable action, as she took the luxury to enter in his private domain without permission. Immediately, he turned to the opposite direction, his gaze directed back on the counterpart of his who seems to be examining the contents in his room with no problems. Brows furrowed both in confusion and in mild irritation, as he found himself still awaiting for some response– any response– from her.

But he wasn’t expecting such bluntness.

“… You ca҉me i̕n͏to ̢my r̸o̶om without my consen͜t ́t͞ò ̵c̵r̸it̷ic̵ize it?” Obviously that was a weak reason, and even he was aware that this wouldn’t be a strong enough motive for her to break the wall between them. His attention was diverted to the cover of the case that was clutched onto by the gamer herself. It was bizarre– even ridiculous. It appeared to have a population of cube-headed citizens, as there was a blatant giant block-headed character with an over-sized top hat in the front. And when she mentioned that the two of them will engage in a video game– together– he deduced that it was probably the one that was in her hands. “I don’t p̀ĺa̢y͘ v̨ideo games. Can’t you play it by you̷r̕s͠el̴f?”
